Welcome to advanced computing laboratory, located in Department of Physics building (1st FL) – Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ITB. In this laboratory we are studying the physical phenomenon by computer simulation from nano scale dimension (in nano meter) to ‘eye‘scale dimension (in meter). We investigate the properties of nanoscale material by first principle calculations or molecular dynamic. In the larger scale, we also study fluid dynamics by mesh-free method. In application view, we also study image processing and apply it on various field, such as robotics and medical imaging.

Any student and researcher from any major who want to use our facilities are encourage to join our laboratory. You can either directly come to our laboratory or contact us via email for first visit.

The following are the facilities in our laboratory:

Teleconference and Meeting Facility

Computing Facility (per 23.04.2015):

QC Cluster with 68 threats and 208 GB of total memory.

GPU with 2652 Stream Processors.

Special server for student practice and support e-learning facility in courses.fi.itb.ac.id

All of computing facility can be remotely accessed from ITB and external (need VPN connection) networks.
